Womhoops Guru

Mel Greenberg covered college and professional women’s basketball for the Philadelphia Inquirer, where he worked for 40 plus years. Greenberg pioneered national coverage of the game, including the original Top 25 women's college poll. Chili with chocolate

By Jonathan Tannenwald

Good morning, all. I'm just stopping by to pass along Mel's latest story, a preview of the Atlantic 10 women's tournament, which you can read by clicking here.

Mel also had a piece previewing the ACC women's tournament and other major conference tournaments that ran yesterday; you can read it here.

Mel is in Cincinnati for the A-10 festivities and I suspect he'll have more to say about that on this page soon.

UPDATE: What do you know, he said it on Philly.com instead: La Salle fell to Dayton, 57-43. St. Joe's is about to wrap up a similarly convincing win over Rhode Island.
